Our officials and volunteers are gearing up for an exciting season of racing.  From mini-meets to Championships, our officials work passionately behind the scenes to ensure our skaters can perform to their best ability.

To prepare for officials development, the Officials Development Committee (ODC) is now collecting Officials’ Availability for certified referees, starters, meet coordinators, recorders, timers, place judges, and lap counters.

Beginning in mid-September, ODC will be doing “Provincial Assignments” to provincial-level competitions. In collaboration with competition Meet Coordinators, ODC may also allot “Targeted Assignments” to other competitions being hosted in BC and beyond. ODC will compile a list of availability for Meet Coordinators to use when recruiting officials for their competitions where officials are not assigned.
