Coaching Appointments 2025-2026
Speed Skating BC is proud to announce the 2025 coaching assignments for its Provincial and Community Academies, as well as Team BC appointments for the upcoming season. These assignments represent a significant step forward in delivering on SSBC’s Strategic Plan commitment to focusing on athlete development, coaching excellence, and community connection across British Columbia.
The Academies framework serves as a cornerstone of SSBC’s long-term athlete and coach development pathway. By offering structured programming, the Academies help skaters refine their holistic abilities while providing valuable opportunities for coaches to learn, lead, and grow.
PROVINCIAL ACADEMY
The Provincial Academies focus on bridging high-performance and club-level programs, offering targeted training and support for developing and provincial level athletes across BC.
