Academy Training Camps

Athletes on the Academy Pathway are eligible to train at Academy Virtual, Short Track, and Long Track camps.  Focus of the camps will be determined by the Provincial Yearly Training Plan (YTP).  Sessions many include on-ice instruction, dryland training, strength and conditioning, mental performance, and skater-coach/official development.

Coaches are encouraged to attend Academy for experience and will receive NCCP points.

Academy Sunday

Academy Sunday sessions are partnered with BC Cup competitions.  BC Cup includes Day 1 Racing and Day 2 Academy.  All competitors (L2T, T2T, Junior/Senior) racing in BC Cup are eligible to participate in Academy Sunday.  Sessions may include on-ice instruction, dryland training, coaching/officiating courses, and mental performance.

The Academy Sunday Parent, Coach, and Official workshops and seminar sessions vary at every BC Cup.
