App Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for the Speed Skating BC app. This document describes how we, the British Columbia Speed Skating Association (BCSSA) dba Speed Skating BC (SSBC), handle your, the user’s, data while using the current version of the SSBC Coaches Box app.

This policy is subject to change at any time. Any changes will apply to future versions of the app.

Currently, the app does not send any of your personal or device information to us. Data necessary for the functionality of the app (for example, whether you have opened the app before) may be stored on your device.

The app may retrieve information from the internet from external sources, including but not limited to Google Workspace and YouTube. These sources may collect information about your device and usage of our app. We do not have access to this information, except for statistics (such as how many times a video has been viewed).

Some links in our app may take you to external websites. This privacy policy does not apply to these websites or pages.

If you contribute activities to our app through our external form (which is linked to by our app) created through Google Forms, you may be asked to submit your email and name. We may use your email to contact you regarding your submission, and if you choose to submit your name, we may publish it in our app to give your credit for your contribution.

Outside our app, we collect personal information about all Speed Skating BC members. This information is collected and handled in accordance with our Personal Information Protection Policy. This may be found at https://speedskatingbc.ca/governance/.
