A HUGE shoutout to our incredible BC Winter Games 2026 Trail–Rossland volunteers! ❄️ Your energy and dedication make these Games unforgettable. A special recognition to our Young Officials- the future leaders of our sport 📋.

Speed Skating BC, in partnership with the @bcwintergames.ca, is proud to deliver the Youth & Young Officials Program- giving the next generation the chance to step onto the provincial stage in a new role.

The program also included:
✔️ Completing the Apprentice Provincial Level 1 Officials Clinic
✔️ Gaining hands-on experience through a Games-time practicum
✔️ Mentoring young skaters competing at the BC Winter Games

Developing athletes. Developing leaders. Building the future of our sport.
