Meet the Teams! 55 speed skaters will take the ice representing 8 zones from across British Columbia at the Trail–Rossland 2026 @bcwintergames.ca, racing February 25–March 1! ❄️

Skaters will showcase their talent, determination, and community spirit on this province wide multi-sport event. Let’s cheer on every zone as they race for personal bests and unforgettable experiences!

In the final day of @ssc_pvc - Olympic Race Off from Quebec City, skaters added to the medal haul, including 🥇 by Matthew Mitchell @fsj_elks_speedskating, 🥉 by Jack Hanson @fsj_elks_speedskating, 6th by Laura Hall Salmon Arm Ice Breakers, and 7th by Beth Smith @tricitylightningspeedskating in the Mass Start! Anders Johnson @burnabyspeedskating added another 🥈 in the 500m. Great performances all around by Team BC including Abigail McCluskey (4th) @kelownaspeedskatingclub and Laura Hall (5th) Salmon Arm Ice Breakers, Kieran Hanson @fsj_elks_speedskating (7th) in the 1500m.
