Young Officials 2022
BC Speed Skating is pleased to announce the Young Officials named to BC Winter Games 2022 in Vernon. Following a successful first edition of the Young Officials Program in Fort St. John 2020, the latest group will earn their Level 1 Officiating and support officials, athletes, and coaches in Vernon this February. For many, this will be their second BC Winter Games-this time as officials, and they are eager to share their experience with skaters joining their first multi-sport competition,
I enjoyed and benefited from the support the Young Officials provided when I was a speed skater at the BCWG 2020 and I want to give speed skaters at BCWG 2022 the same support and benefits.
