Friday May 26 – 7:00pm – Welcome Reception
Join us for an opportunity to reunite with friends from across the province.
Location: Best Western Premier Meeting room
Saturday May 27 – 8:30 am – 5:30pm – SSBC Summit
A full day of opportunities to learn and participate in discussions to shape the future of SSBC. The summit is open to all members. It is highly recommended to have representation from all clubs for these sessions. Full agenda can be found here. 2023 Summit Agenda

Sunday May 28 – 9:00am – 12:00pm – SSBC Annual General Meeting
The AGM meeting is open to all. Club Delegates and Board will vote on governance issues for the organization.
Members may watch the proceedings virtually. Link will be posted shortly or check our SSBC’s YouTube page.
For catering purposes, please register by May 17 and indicate any dietary restrictions or any accommodations that will allow you to fully participate in the meeting.
Please note the Memorial Cup Hockey Tournament will be taking place at the same time as our meeting. Hotel and Restaurant reservations are highly recommended.
Our preferred hotel is the Best Western Premier Aberdeen Kamloops
We have a block booking at a rate of $180/night. Please advise them you are with the Speed Skating BC AGM.
Clubs in attendance will be eligible for a Travel Subsidy as outlined in the following document.
Meetings will be held at the Coast Hotel and Conference Centre which is within walking distance of the hotel.

The following Policies are being presented for review and ratification by the membership.
An information meeting was held on May 9th at 7:00pm. Polices marked “REVISED” were updated as a result of that meeting. The revised policies were passed by the Board at the May 15th Board meeting.
